Head-Mounted Display Of Pizza Boxes, Smart Phone



The project “Cardboard” this is Google's attempt to create an inexpensive set of virtual reality for your operating system of the things that can be found at home or buy at a hardware store.

It includes a very real piece of cardboard (e.g. of pizza boxes), lenses, magnets, Velcro, and a rubber strap. Combine all these ingredients with a ruler, glue, scissors and stationery knife and you get your own set of virtual reality. Detailed instructions for assembly are available on Google.


Cardboard box set also acts as Oculus Rift, but unlike it has a smaller depth of field. According to the Google Cardboard compatible with the "majority" of smartphones using Android 4.2 Jelly Bean or higher. To get started, you can download the free application from the Cardboard-Google Play, which includes virtual tours of Google Earth and allows you to walk to such places as Paris and Versailles. With it, you can even watch videos from YouTube.
